"The Pursuit" - MTB Ministries

We see Christianity in sports like Supercross and Motocross constantly. From riders who have crosses painted on their lids, to early morning services held before the days events - attended by athletes, mechanics & industry people alike. With downhill mountain biking holding many similarities to their "moto counterpart," it's no surprise that, in our small community, Christ's message is taking similar routes. Riders like Mick Hannah & Cole Bangert have both expressed their faith on their helmets, and now The Pursuit, is taking the 'message' to the next step..

The Mission - To spread this message to our generation through action sports: Jesus Christ gave His life to give us life and now lives - offering Hope, Purpose and Eternal Life to anyone who will reach out and take His hand.

"The Pursuit is a ministry that will be traveling to these races and providing church services, a place to pray, a place to confide and most importantly a vessel that will be used to pour God's untamable love into the community belinging to Downhill, Mountain Cross, and Cross Country."

Kovarik's Ankle Not Broken!

Great news! Just got word that Chris Kovarik DID NOT break his ankle, but sustained a severe sprain! Although it's unlikely that he'll race (then again, he is an Aussie), he should be in attendance at this weekend's Fontana Winter Series Final!

Kovarik Injures Ankle?

Went out for a quickie photo shoot with Claire Buchar & Chris Kovarik down in Pine Valley, California. Claire needed some photos for an interview she's doing up on another website & I needed to get out of the shop! Kovarik was doing a bit of a video shoot w/ an Aussie videographer, Sam Davies.

While practicing a 360 on his Intense M3 downhill bike, CK bailed off his bike & rolled his ankle upon landing. Although he heard a "pop," he's optimistic that it is not broken, but just a severe sprain. He's been resting at home & will hopefully try to get out for this weekend's DH race in Fontana. Since he's already won 4 out of the 5 race series, he doesn't need to race to take overall.

Heal up quick mate!
