just got the word that EC took the #1 spot in the Men's Dual Slalom Qualifiers out in Windham, New York. Average times were around 20 sec, but EC managed to snipe the field in one lane an was the only guy to hit the 19 sec mark... just barely! #2 qualifier Ryan Condrashoff was the fastest man in the opposite lane.

Apparently there are only about 12 guys participating in the slalom... what a shame. Most of the other riders are out in Snowmass for the MSC race this same weekend. Although i'm hearing that the Downhill is actually pretty sick - all natural layout.. someone remarked it to be kinda similar to Maribor in feel, but not as steep. Hopefully this track will be around in '09, even though the demise of the National series is imminent!
sorry, i don't know the women's results.. i'm guessing it's Melissa Buhl if she's there.
