Local Big Bear resident and downhill racer, Amy Cone, has begun a serious effort to help bring gravity mountain biking back to Snow Summit Resort in Big Bear, California. If you'd like to be a part of the solution, you can start by attending a meeting being held at Nottingham's Restaurant on April 11th at 5 pm. Here's some quick info on the event:

Several Years ago Snow Summit, a ski resort in Big Bear California offered Some of the best mountain biking in the U.S. Due to an unfortunate accident that led to lawsuit at a race the resort decided to no longer offer any mountain biking more than cross-country. Mountain biking is an amazing sport available for all ages and experience levels. It is a great way to keep our kids out of trouble and build self-esteem. Please join the many of us in support of having a gravity park come to Big Bear!
